RETEE! is the Italian version of Emlyn Hughes International Soccer. As such, it stands as the only localised version of the game.
The first version of Retee! came out on Commodore 64 in 1988, soon after the original English release. It includes eight Italian Serie A teams with contemporary Serie A squads, coloured player names in the arcade section, and a few other changes. Unlike the original Emlyn Hughes International Soccer, it was never ported to other machines. However, Retee! 2 came out for Amiga in 1993, and was based on European Champions, an EHIS derivative. This document only concentrates on the original Retee! for Commodore 64.
BY AND LARGE, Retee! is identical to Emlyn Hughes International Soccer. However, there are a few differences, as well. You can see them in the following screenshots.

Retee!'s loading screen. No mention of the people behind the game are made.

The first thing you see when Retee! loads.

The default options on Retee! Note how the goalkeepers are set to be player-controlled and not automatic, as in the default version of EHIS.

Retee!'s game menu. Note how Inter is selected as the default team even if it is not the first team on the list.

Ac Milan in Retee! Note how, unlike in the English version of the game, each player has only one dot blanked, and how the player shirts are neatly distributed among the players. This is true of every team (yes, each player in Retee! is exactly the same).

Retee!'s display settings are somewhat different from the ones used in the basic version.

AC Milan vs. Inter Milan. Note how the player names are coloured according to their team's shirt colour.

A "rinvio", or kick-in for the blue team, Inter.

Rimessa, or throw-in, for AC Milan.

Van Basten equalises!

Free kick, or "punizione", in Retee!

Rigore! Inter has got a rigore! Would you believe it!
